Global Health Entrepreneurship (Microprogram)
Program overview
Become a change maker in health through our Microprogram in Global Health Entrepreneurship and meet the growing demand for a new generation of professionals equipped to address the health challenges of today and tomorrow.
Through this microprogram built for mid-career health professionals, you’ll gain fundamental and data-analytics skills in health sciences and biomedical sciences, as well as entrepreneurship skills. These skills will empower you to innovate in your existing position, seek new leadership roles to transfer your knowledge, or launch your own business. You’ll learn to challenge outdated models, design new solutions, and lead meaningful change in health systems in Canada and around the world.
The microprogram’s flexible evening schedule features alternating in-person and online sessions that include peer discussions, seminars, case studies, group projects and lectures.
Program structure
Fully-qualified candidates are required to complete a minimum of 6 credits.

Admission requirements
Admission Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university
- Have work experience or advanced training in clinical practice, policy, research or management
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficiency in English. Applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate that their knowledge of English is sufficient to pursue graduate studies in their chosen field. Please refer to the English language proficiency page for further information on requirements and exemptions.
Application process
Priority will be given to complete applications submitted by the deadline. In some cases, programs may continue to accept applications as long as there is space available. Consult the list of programs open for applications.
This program is only offered part-time and is not open to U.S or international students. For questions about possible exceptions, please contact Graduate Recruitment.
Tuition & funding
Tuition and fees
The cost of the microprogram is a combination of university tuition and compulsory fees.
The cost of tuition per credit depends whether you reside in Quebec or the rest of Canada. This is a 6‑credit microprogram.

Note that international tuition exemptions are not applicable to French and French-speaking Belgian students taking microprograms. French and French-speaking Belgian students will be charged tuition at the international tuition rate.
Awards and funding
Students enrolled in this program do not qualify for financial assistance, awards, fee waivers, bursaries, or scholarships internally to Concordia or externally at the provincial or federal levels.
