Concordia’s research and innovation get a boost from the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec
The research and innovation hub will house activities with commercial potential for Concordia’s current and future industrial partners and entrepreneurs, and include infrastructure to support the scaling up of projects created on the lab bench.
Concordia has received a silver medal from Vélo Quebec for its efforts in accommodating cyclists travelling to and from the downtown Sir George Williams Campus.
Putting down on paper Concordia’s long-term commitment to sustainability, the new policy outlines guiding principles that will assist with its integration into university activities.
This means that all residence dining halls, non-franchised campus cafés and student-run cafés are stocked with 100 per cent fairly traded coffee, at least three fair trade teas and a minimum of one fair trade chocolate (where chocolate is served).
