ESSEC MBA Summer Program 2024

The Global Manager in Europe program runs over a 3-week period and is designed for students interested in business and management practices in Europe as well as intercultural relations. 

About the program

This 3-week intensive program is designed for MBA students interested in learning about business and management practices in Europe and willing to enhance their intercultural skills. The main objective of the program is to put together a select group of highly motivated international students and allow them to learn not only about current management issues in Europe from an academic and professional point of view, but also about some of the expertise of France and ESSEC

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to participate in the ESSEC MBA The Global Manager in Europe program, you must meet the following criteria.

  • Be enrolled in the MBA degree program at Concordia. 
  • Completed at a minimum of 24 credits toward your current degree program by the time you leave for the program.
  • Be registered as a full-time staus student at Concordia.
  • Minimum CGPA: 3.0.

Approved program courses

The Global Manager in Europe program consists of 3 one-week thematic modules for a total of 8ECTS credits or 3 Concordia credits.

  • European Geopolitics and Economics
  • Management Skills in Europe
  • Luxury Brand Management

The course is made up of 90 contact hours from Monday to Friday from - 9:30 to 12:30 / 1:30 to 4:30. Th eteaching methods will include case studies, lectures and group work with a high level of class interaction.

Estimated cost & bursary

Host institution fees: To be paid to ESSEC: € 800.00 reservation and administrative fee which will cover the class materials, activities, and visits. This fee is due from all participants selected in the program and is non-refundable. 

Concordia Tuition3 credits of Concordia tuition to be paid to Concordia University.  For an estimate of tuition fees, please use tuition fee calculator.

Additional costs: Housing and all other costs incurred during the program are at the students’ charge.

Quebec Mobility BursaryConcordia International offers a $1425 CDN to students who qualify. Please note that the above mentioned bursary cannot be combined with any other mobility scholarship, mobility bursary or mobility award. Accommodations

Participants are responsible for finding and paying for their own accommodatiosn for the duration of the program.
