Impacts on Hall 7
Renovations to the H-8 washrooms required certain areas on the seventh floor of the Hall Building to be walled off or closed during the construction period.
- The H-7 washrooms were unavailable from January to April 2025.
- The seating and dining area near the People's Potato was walled off from December 2024 to April 2025.
- The H-7 area with microwaves, vending machines and a fridge was sectioned off from December 2024 to April 2025.
During that time, H-7 users in need of washroom facilities were directed to the restrooms on the sixth or ninth floors of the Hall Building. Affected microwaves, vending machines and the fridge were relocated to another section of the seventh floor.
Alternative washrooms
During the renovation, individuals seeking washroom facilities used the stairs, elevators or escalators to access restrooms on the sixth or ninth floors. Additionally, individual washrooms were available on the sixth floor.
