Ask a question

Course approval

All courses taken at your host university while on exchange must be approved in writing by your department/faculty advisor before you leave for exchange.

Your department/faculty advisor will confirm if the courses you've selected at your host university are equivalent to courses at Concordia and determine how many credits will get transferred back to Concordia for each course.

Each faculty has its own procedure for approving exchange courses. Some faculties require that your courses are approved before you apply for exchange. Other faculties will approve exchange courses after you’ve been offered a placement by Concordia International. Information regarding processes for each faculty can be found on that faculty’s exchange website (found under the “Faculty Requirements” section on the How to Apply to CSEP web page). You must carefully review and complete these procedures before going on exchange.
