Description

Objective: to foster lasting links between Quebec and French film and video directors, and to contribute to the development of the artistic expertise and approaches.

The award is aimed at allowing Quebec filmmakers, accompanied by an image editor, to perform a two-month post-production residency at the Periphery Center, located in the Paris suburbs, and French directors to perform a two-month post-production residency at PRIM in Montreal.

Key eligibility criteria includes:

- Have participated in at least one production, independent of -or after- his/her training. This production had to be broadcasted in a context recognized by his/her peers.

The director must demonstrate that he / she has full control over the content and realization of his work as well as all production and distribution agreements.

He/she has all the rights of reproduction and public representation of his/her work or may, by granting license, entrust them to an independent producer or distributor.

Only collective projects presented jointly by a director and a picture editor are eligible.
