Research & Restricted Financial Management

Mandate

The mandate of Research & Restricted Financial Management is to provide financial management and control on behalf of external stakeholders:

• Governmental agencies
• Private industries and donors

as well as an infrastructure to facilitate the management of the funds to our internal stakeholders:

• Researchers
• Financial managers and administrators

Moreover, Research & Restricted Financial Management are to financially manage the University's restricted funds. These funds encompass the following types of activities:

• Research funded by internal and/or external sources
• Other projects for which spending has been internally/externally restricted
• Projects funded by Donations and Endowments
• Capital Budgeting
• Affiliated Entities (I.e. Foundations)
• Agency accounts
