Youth Camps Coordinator
Concordia University Youth Engagement Office
With over 15 years of experience in youth services management including subsidized daycare centres, day camps, kindergartens, drop-in childcare centres, and children’s sports programs, Celine is pleased to lead the relaunch of Concordia University’s day camps and to put her expertise to work in support of Concordia’s Office of Youth Engagement.
Assistant Coordinator, Camps and Youth Engagement
Danika built her career on the ground. Counsellor, then head counsellor, customer service representative and assistant coordinator: over the past several years she has held nearly every role on a camp team, across a number of camps in Quebec. This past summer, she was assistant coordinator of Concordia's Science Camp.
A full-time student at Concordia University, she holds this part-time position alongside her studies.
It's that hands-on knowledge of camp life (what works with a group of children, what reassures a parent on a Monday morning, what a counsellor team needs to do its job well ) that she now brings to our programs year-round.
Her role
Danika supports the preparation of all our camps and provides on-site coordination while they run: supervising counsellor teams, welcoming families and managing daily site operations.
Starting in 2027, she will take on the role of camp coordinator for our partner camps, our March break camp and our summer camps. A natural progression, after several years spent learning the work at every level of the team.
Getting in touch
For any question about how our camps run or about your child's experience on site, Danika is your first point of contact.
