Health insurance

Immigration Québec regulations require that all international students, including exchange students, be covered by a Quebec-issued health insurance plan that meets government standards, while studying in Quebec.

In keeping with this government directive, Concordia University has negotiated a compulsory health and accident insurance plan with Blue Cross at a competitive cost that exchange students must enroll in. Personal health insurance plans are not accepted, unless you qualify for an exemption. For more information, please visit the Eligibility for exemptions web page.

Health insurance fees will be automatically charged to all exchange students, unless exemptions apply. You will need to pay the fees by the stated fee payment deadlines. Information on how to pay your fees is available on the Methods of Payment web page.
