Raul Valverde is the Co-op academic director of the Supply Chain Management Operations and Business Technology Management programs. In this role, he provides academic, career advise and coaching to students that are part of this program. He is also a Senior Lecturer with Concordia University and the chair of the Business Technology Management Accreditation Council Canada. 

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Information Systems from the University of Southern Queensland, Post MBA from McGill University, MSc in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of the West of England, Master in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from Camilo Jose Cela University and a MEng in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in academic and career counselling, information technology, mathematical modeling, product management, financial analysis and programming. He is certified in Operations Research, certified counsellor, certified in Neuroeconomics, certified in executive coaching, certified project manager, certified in project accounting and in ERPSim. He is also a professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and a Certified in Counselling and Executive Coaching with the Counselling Therapy Association of Alberta.



Dr Valverde's main research interests include Financial Tech, Information Systems Security and Risk Management, Supply Chain Systems, Health Information Systems, Executive Coaching and Academic Counselling.
