Raul Valverde is the Co-op academic director of the Supply Chain Management Operations and Business Technology Management programs. In this role, he provides academic and career advise and coaching to students that are part of this program. He is also a Senior Lecturer with Concordia University and the chair of the Business Technology Management Accreditation Council at Technation Canada. He is also an adjunct research professor at the Universite du Quebec en Outaouai.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, a Post MBA in Management from McGill University, a MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of the West of England, a MSc in Supply Chain and logistics Management from Camilo Jose Cela University, a MEng in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University, a certificate in Executive and Business Coaching from University Isabel I, a MPsy from Catholic University of Cuyo and a certificate in Computer Security from Stanford University.
He has more than 20 years of professional experience in academic and career counselling, information technology, mathematical modeling, financial analysis and programming. He is certified in Operations Research, certified counsellor, certified in Neuroeconomics, certified project manager, certified in project accounting, and in ERPSim. He is also a professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario, a Chartered Member in Risk and Compliance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association.
Dr Valverde's main research interests include Supply Chain Systems, Risk Management, IT Audit, Financial Systems, Project Management, Psychology and Information Technology and Academic, Executive and Business Coaching and Counselling.
