Raul Valverde is the Co-op academic director of the Supply Chain Management Operations and Business Technology Management programs and a Senior Lecturer in Business Technology Management and Supply Chain

He holds a Doctorate in Information Systems from the University of Southern Queensland, Post MBA in Management from McGill University, MSc in Accounting and Financial management from the University of the West of England, a Master in Supply Chain and Logistics from Camilo Jose Cela, a MEng in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University and a Post PhD degree in Psychology in AI and Analytics for Health Care from the University of Flores in Buenos Aires. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in information technology, mathematical modeling, engineering, product management, and research for quantum technologies for applications in health care, psychology and consciousness research. 

He is certified in Operations Research, certified in Neuroeconomics, certified in Neuromarketing, certified in Computer Security, certified in Executive Coaching, Certified project manager, Certified Database Administrator, Certified in project accounting and in ERPSim. He is also a licensed professional electrical engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario, a licensed counsellor therapist in Executive Coaching and Career Counselling with the Counselling Therapy Association of Alberta and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association.

Dr Valverde's main research interests include Quantum Technologies and AI, Information Systems Security and Risk Management, Career and Executive Coaching for Technology and Management careers, Supply Chain Systems, Health Information Systems, finance technology and Consciousness Research.
