Raul Valverde is the Co-op academic director of the Supply Chain Management Operations and Business Technology Management programs and a Full Teaching Professor in Business Technology Management and Operations Management.
He holds a Doctorate in Information Systems (University of Southern Queensland; PhD equivalency from CES–University of Toronto), a Post-MBA (McGill University), an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management (University of the West of England), and an MEng in Electrical Engineering (Concordia University). He also completed Master level studies in Supply Chain Management, Project Management & Business Intelligence (Spain), and doctoral and Postdoctoral studies in Psychology (Argentina).
With over 25 years of professional experience in information technology, operations, engineering, product management, and applied research, he is an active member of the Applied AI Institute at Concordia University.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PEng) in Ontario, licensed Psychologist in México, a member of the association québécoise des professionnels du développement de carrière, a member of the societe quebecoise de psychologie du travail et des organisations and holds certifications in Operations Research, Project Management, Computer Security, Database Administration, and ERPSim, among others. His contributions to academia have been recognized with the University of Liverpool Excellence in Teaching Award, an Academic Fellowship with the Association of International Accountants (UK), and the Fellowship of the College of Human Sciences from the International Institute of Integral Human Sciences.
Dr Valverde's main research interests include Analytics in Psychology and Health, Information Systems Security and Risk Management, Project and Operations Management, Executive Coaching, Career development and Quantum and Biophotonic Technologies (integrating quantitative modeling, theoretical frameworks, and biophotonic approaches). He has presented at multiple Science of Consciousness conferences and AMCIS.
