Raul Valverde is the Co-op academic director of the Supply Chain Management Operations and Business Technology Management programs and a Teaching Professor in Business Technology Management and Operations Management . 

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with specialization in Information Systems (PhD equivalency from the University of Toronto) from the University of Southern Queensland, Post MBA in Leadership from McGill University, MSc in Accounting and Financial management (Quantitative Finance) from the University of the West of England, a Master in Supply Chain and Operations Management from Camilo Jose Cela University, a MEng in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University, a Post Professional Doctor of Psychology in AI and Analytics for Mental Health from the University of Flores in Buenos Aires and his Habilitation from the Université du Québec en Outaouais.

He has more than 25 years of professional experience in information technology, mathematical modeling, engineering, product management, and research for quantum and AI technologies for applications in health care, psychology and consciousness research. He is a member of the applied AI institute at Concordia University.

He is certified in Operations Research, certified in Neuroeconomics, certified in Neuromarketing, certified in Computer Security, certified in Executive Coaching, Certified Database Administrator, Certified in Project Management, Certified in Project Accounting and in ERPSim. He is a licensed professional electrical engineer member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, a licensed counsellor in Executive Coaching and Career Counselling member of the Counselling Therapy Association of Alberta and associate member with the ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'orientation du québec, he is also an executive coach member of the Société Québécoise de Psychologie du travail et des Organisations. He was awarded the excellence teaching award from the University of Liverpool, academic fellowship from the Association of International Accountants in the UK, Academic Registered Professional Accountant from the Society of Professional Accounts of Canada, and the Fellowship of the College of Human Sciences from the International Institute of Integral Human Sciences in Montreal.

Dr Valverde's main research interests include Quantum Technologies and AI, Information Systems Security and Risk Management, Techno-Psychology, Operations Management, Finance technology, Executive coaching and career counselling, and Quantum Consciousness Research.
