Mitchell Cohen

Mitchell is a graduate (2015) of Concordia's Theatre Performance program and holds an MA Acting from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.  After many years of theatre training, I made my big screen debut in Messy Legends (directed by James Charles Watts and Kelly Kay Hurcomb) at Fantasia in July 2025. The film won best Quebec Feature. Director Michael Dowse (The Stunt Driver, FUBAR, It's All Gone Pete Tong), saw the film and asked me to audition for TSD. 

I have a keen interest in playing comedic roles with a serious and heartfelt undertone. People holding it together outwardly, but barely hanging on on the inside. I love clowning and improvisation and consider it foundational in my abilities.
