Hamed (Ed) Aleali
I am Hamed (Ed) Aleali, an MFA student currently working on my thesis project, a short documentary that examines the impact of patriarchal values on Iranian immigrant couples in Canada. As a cinematographer, film colorist, and emerging filmmaker, I am dedicated to bringing stories to life through the art of visual storytelling.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film production from Concordia University, I possess a strong foundation in both the technical and artistic aspects of filmmaking. My expertise as a cinematographer lies in capturing the essence of each narrative through mastery of light, composition, and camera movement, creating evocative and visually compelling images that enhance the story.
