Jason Piché
Jason's research concerns the role of religion in the formulation of Canadian and American foreign policy during the Cold War Era and beyond. Though conventional wisdom discusses the United States as a more religious country than Canada, the goal of Jason's research is to subvert this dominant narrative and show how Canadian foreign policy in the early era of the Cold War was arguably more influenced by religion, Christian ethics as articulated by the Social Gospel movement in particular, than American foreign policy. He is currently a PhD in the INDI program working under Dr. Gagné's supervision.
