The Garnet Key Society
Membership in the Garnet Key Society is the highest honour which may be bestowed upon an undergraduate.

Each year, twelve accomplished undergraduate students join Concordia University's official honour society, the Garnet Keys.
Members act as ambassadors of the university at awards ceremonies, Convocation and other important events. The Garnet Keys appear alongside senior administrators, prominent speakers and influential guests. They also create a lasting impact by getting involved in community projects.
Why join the Garnet Keys?
Becoming a member of the Garnet Key Society can be a transformative experience. Says one member: Being a Garnet Key gave me a sense of confidence and self-esteem — and the courage to aspire to the possibility of higher achievement. It helped me to be in touch with an inner sense of commitment and integrity, which I carried throughout my life.
Each year, the Society evolves as a new membership forms its own personality and pursues its own sense of purpose. However, the traditional commitment to serving the university and the community remains. After an active one-year term of service, students become lifetime members.
