Health and safety measures for summer 2022
To remain aligned with the most recent public health directives, Concordia is implementing several changes to safety measures on campus, starting May 2.
- The physical distancing requirement on campus moves from two metres to one
- Instructors may remove their mask while teaching, as long as they are able to maintain physical distancing
Masks remain mandatory in most university spaces
For the summer 2022 term, procedure masks remain mandatory in Concordia’s shared spaces, including classrooms, the Library, elevators, hallways and any space where physical distancing is not possible.
You must remain masked while in the classroom and/or writing an in-person exam, in a studio, lab or any other setting unless specific rules that have been communicated to you. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask even in when it’s not mandatory should feel free to do so.
Continue to use the self-declaration form
You're required to declare if you test positive for or develop symptoms of COVID-19 by completing the Self-Declaration form. Follow the instructions at the end of the form about when you may return to campus following your declaration. Read more about the procedure for COVID-19 cases.
