Minor Supply Chain Operations Management

“My favourite thing about living in Montreal is being able to grow in a bilingual environment. It gives me the chance to study in English while still being surrounded by French, my mother tongue.”

Fun fact: I’ve loved drawing since I was little, and it’s still my go-to hobby whenever I need to clear my mind

Favourite thing about Concordia: My favorite thing about Concordia is the sense of community. Whether it’s through volunteering or campus events, there’s always this feeling that everyone belongs and supports each other.

Why did you choose Business Technology Management (BTM)?

I chose Business Technology Management because I’ve always loved both computer science and business since high school. I wanted a program that would combine the two, and BTM was the perfect fit. My minor in Supply Chain Management also made sense, since the university recommended it as a great complement to BTM. I’ve really enjoyed seeing how the two areas connect.

What has been your best experience at Concordia?

My best university experience was volunteering at Frosh. I never had the chance to experience Frosh in my first year, so in my last year I decided to get involved. I helped set up events, ensured safety and inclusion, and created a fun and welcoming environment for students. It was an amazing way to meet new people, give back and truly enjoy university life.

What does campus life look like for you?

Most days on campus are a mix of classes, work and time with friends. An average day would be:

  • Walk to school in the morning and start the day with Spanish class
  • Work a shift at the Centre pour étudiant·es francophones, welcoming students and helping out with activities
  • Study with friends at the library. It’s our go-to spot to stay on track!
  • Grab an iced latte from a nearby coffee shop
  • Have lunch at one of the restaurants around campus
  • Take a creative break to draw and recharge
  • Book a study room at John Molson for group study sessions with friends

How have you gained experience outside of the classroom?

I’ve gained valuable experience outside the classroom through my work at the Centre pour étudiant·es francophones at Concordia. In this role, I support students, help organize activities and contribute to creating a welcoming campus environment. It has strengthened my communication and organizational skills while allowing me to connect with many students.
