Widely recognized as a thought leader in his field, Kenneth M. Brooks has over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as restructuring.

A partner and senior vice president at Ernst & Young (EY) Orenda Corporate Finance in Montreal, Brooks’ main focus is advising companies within the manufacturing sector, providing them with a range of services relating to mergers, acquisitions, divestiture, restructuring and joint ventures.

Brooks graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from the John Molson School of Business in 1999 — the same year he joined EY. He worked at a boutique firm full-time while pursuing his studies.

A runner-up at the 1998 edition of the International Case Competition (ICC), where he later returned as a judge, Brooks joined the board of directors of the John Molson School ICC in 2013 and later became its chair, in 2015. In 2016, he became a member of JMSB’s advisory board, helping promote relationships between the John Molson School and the business community. In 2018, he was appointed to the university’s ultimate authority, its board of governors.
