As Vice-President, Services and Sustainability, Michael leads a team comprised of more than 450 employees and an annual budget of over $100 million. He is responsible for and provides leadership, strategic direction and oversight for the departments of Sustainability, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Instructional and Information Technology Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Campus Safety and Security, Recreation and Athletics, Hospitality Concordia (i.e. Conference Services, Parking Services, Food Services etc.) and Student Residences.
Michael has a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from Concordia. He completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP 177) at the Harvard Business School and received his Director’s Accreditation (ICD.D) from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Michael continues to serve on the board of directors of numerous not-for-profit organizations.
