Saif Ullah joined John Molson School of Business in July 2008. He completed his PhD at University of Alberta. He has a BA (Mathematics and Statistics) from University of the Punjab, a Master in Public Administration degree from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad and an MSc (Finance) degree from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He has worked in banking sector for three years.
He has published papers, among others, in high quality journals, namely, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Financial Stability, Information Systems Frontiers, International Review of Financial Analysis and Managerial Finance. His research interests are in business ethics, corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and financial institutions. He has won best paper by a PhD student award at Northern Finance Association (2005) and has presented his work, among others, at Financial Management Association Annual Meeting (2008), Paris Financial Management Conference 2015, the 24th Annual Conference on Pacific Basin Finance, Economics, Accounting, and Management 2016 and 9th Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference 2018.
