Mr. Yunke Xu, MBA, CPA

Part-time Lecturer

Yunke Xu is a seasoned accounting professional and educator with more than a decade of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and professional development. Since beginning his career in 2013, he has built extensive expertise in leading high-performing teams and managing complex financial operations within fast-paced business environments.

Yunke currently serves as Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting at Dollarama L.P./S.E.C., one of Canada’s leading retail organizations. In this role, he oversees the financial close process and contributes to the integrity and effectiveness of the company’s financial reporting framework.

In addition to his corporate leadership responsibilities, Yunke is actively involved in the development of future accounting professionals. He serves as an advisor and grader for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) and Concordia University’s CPA Capstone II program, where he draws upon his extensive experience in case writing and preparation for the Common Final Examination (CFE).

Yunke is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accountancy, Minor in Finance), a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Professional Accountancy (CPA), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), all from Concordia University.

As a Concordia alumnus and educator, Yunke is passionate about bridging academic learning and professional practice, helping students develop the technical competencies, critical thinking skills, and professional judgment required for success in the accounting profession.
