Biography
Simon-Pierre Lacasse is a historian and research professional specializing in Quebec society, minority histories, and questions of diversity, memory, and belonging. He holds a PhD in History from the University of Ottawa and is the author of Les Juifs de la Révolution tranquille, an award-nominated study of activism amongst the Jewish community in postwar Quebec. He teaches at McGill University and Concordia University and is a Senior Research Associate at Quebec English-Speaking Communities Research Network (QUESCREN). He previously worked as an senior analyst at Statistics Canada.
