Research interests

Mark Watson is Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. An action anthropologist, his work over the last 20 years on action driven projects with Indigenous peoples in Canada and Asia has fostered his ongoing interest in the philosophy and practice of action-oriented and collaborative research as well as on the ethnographic analysis of ordinary, everyday life.
