Biography

Mark has been a professional actor and teacher / acting coach for the past 25 years, as well as a producer and professional screenwriter for the past 15 years. He also has a Masters degree in Dramatherapy from Concordia University. His premiere feature film, THE WILD HUNT, which he wrote and co-produced, won Best First Canadian Feature Film at TIFF in 2009 and Best Narrative Film at Slamdance (2010): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1493886/

Recently he wrote, directed, and produced YOU ARRIVE, an award-winning educational drama about trauma transmission: https://vimeo.com/577690962/f32f97ce0d which. His dark-comedy web series - IN THE CARDS: https://vimeo.com/444369101 also secured distribution in 2022.

Mark has written, directed, and produced several short films including Blue Violin, In Faustian Fashion, and Exodus that have premiered on the Bravo network and festivals such as Fantasia.  (Exodus screener: https://vimeo.com/258835089 /) (Director demo: https://vimeo.com/413418721). He has written several feature film screenplays – such as VINLAND, a historical drama, which received full development financing  (Telefilm, SODEC, and HGF).

His angling-adventure series, HOOKED WITH MARK KRUPA, was internationally distributed (sample episode – GASPE: https://vimeo.com/396812636). He was also nominated for a GEMEAUX award (2011) as best host in a youth series for ZOOVILLE . Mark has performed leading roles in award-winning feature films such as Rhymes for Young Ghouls, Le Cyclotron, and The Wild Hunt. Some of his notable TV appearances include: Titans, The Boys, Eaux Turbulantes, Human Trafficking, and Silent Night. Moreover he is a prolific MOCAP and voice actor for various VIDEO GAMES, including the Assassin's Creed and DEUS EX franchises
