Biography
Biography
Joseph Siddiqi is an artist and educator working in painting and drawing. His paintings have been shown in solo exhibitions in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and Montreal, as well as in group exhibitions across Canada and in the United States. He has been awarded grants for his work by the Concordia University Part-time Faculty Association, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation. His work can be found in public and private collections, including the Canada Council Art Bank in Ottawa, Colart Collection in Montreal, and Athabasca University Art Collection in Northern Alberta. He received his bachelor's degree in studio art from Concordia University and his master's degree in painting from Boston University.
