Gerard J. Walsh is the co-president of the New York City chapter of the Concordia University Alumni Association (CUAA).

A native New Yorker, Gerard Walsh entered Loyola College in the seminal year of 1967 (Expo 67), graduating in 1971. He played varsity basketball for the Loyola Warriors and was co-captain in his senior year.

Walsh spent the bulk of his career as a director of Patient Financial Services in a number of prestigious hospitals across New York City.

In his role with the CUAA New York chapter, he developed relationships that provided him a second family.

His favourite activity every year is to promote the Terry Fox Run for Cancer in Central Park. Over the past 15 years, the New York chapter has raised over $50,000 for cancer research at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. In 2017, they raised more than any other contributing university.
