Alexander Nachaj
Alexander Nachaj completed his PhD at Concordia University's department of Religions and Cultures. His doctoral work was first supervised by Dr. Donald Boisvert, and then seen to completion by Dr. Hillary Kaell. His interdisciplinary research examined currents of mid-20th century celebrity and masculinity around the figure of Fulton J. Sheen, an American Catholic bishop on the road to canonization.
While completing his studies, Alexander was Editor-in-Chief of Concordia's Journal of Religion and Culture between 2014-2017 and taught several undergraduate courses within the department. His first scholarly monograph, Prime-Time Bishop, is being released through McGill-Queen's University Press. He currently works in student recruitment and admissions, overseeing digital marketing initiatives for several colleges and universities in North America and Europe.
