Sarah Volstad

Sarah is Senior Legal Counsel at Broccolini Construction, where she advises on strategic legal issues, manages high-stakes litigation, leads complex negotiations, and provides training to project teams across the company. Before moving in-house, Sarah built her legal career in private practice after being called to the Quebec Bar in 2018 and joining the Ontario Law Society in 2025. She holds both civil law (LL.B.) and common law (J.D.) degrees from the Université de Montréal and was recognized in 2025 with the Association of Corporate Counsel Quebec’s “Rising Star” award. A proud alumna of Concordia’s Journalism program, class of 2013, Sarah graduated with Great Distinction and initially worked as a freelance broadcast reporter for Global News before pivoting to law. She credits her journalism training for shaping her analytical thinking, storytelling, and composure under pressure.
