Dr. Hamidreza Roohian

Earned his PhD from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in 2022 conducting research on institutional investment, Behavioural finance, and corporate social responsibility. Also, received his MBA in 2015.

Dr. Roohian has taught many distinct courses including Introductionto Finance (COMM 308),  Mergersand Acquisitions (FINA 415), Short-TermFinancial Management (FINA 402) which Focuses on liquidityand S/T investments, Theory of Finance (FINA385), Portfolio Management (FINA 411), International BankingPolicies (FINA 482) which talks about balance of payments,strategies and banking policies, Cases in Finance (FINA 405)whichtries to help students apply what they have learned in different courses inempirical situations, and GDBA Finance (GDBA 535)whichcovers the most basic financial theories for students from differentbackgrounds.

Served on different departmental committees including open house committee, Co-Op committee, and Convocation committee in the department of Finance at JMSB.
