Biography

I have been teaching full-time in the Department of Communication Studies since Fall 2012. My courses cover all areas of media production, including film, video, sound, and intermedia. I try to encourage innovative approaches, resourcefulness and the development of creative problem-solving skills that will be transferrable to a diverse range of professional careers. Recently, I was awarded a Curriculum Innovation Project Grant to develop a six-week collaborative project between the Graduate Diploma Intermedia course and the National Film Board of Canada.

My creative work has shown at Ann Arbor Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives and various art galleries and festivals in Canada and the US. Recent work includes concert visuals and music videos, including a nominee for the 2012 Prism Prize for Best Canadian Music Video.
