Research Interests

My research is grounded in synthetic organic and physical chemistry, with a focus on designing and synthesizing new materials for sustainable technologies. I also actively engagin science policy & innovation, especially at the interface of research, societal needs, and innovation ecosystems. Some specific work includes:
  • Developing porous/synthetic materials for carbon capture & CO₂-recycling.
  • Designing shapeshifting or fluxional molecular scaffolds, supramolecular architectures, dyes, and porphyrin systems for energy & optoelectronics.
  • Using molecular devices to improve plant resilience and agricultural sustainability.
  • Researcher engagement in science policy, innovation policy towards how science, technology & innovation can better serve society.
