Biography
Asma Fattoum-Guedri is associate professor in entrepreneurship and family business in the
Department of Management of John Molson School of business, Concordia University.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Lyon and a second Ph.D. in
Entrepreneurship from EMLYON Business School. Her research focuses on (1) the effects
of entrepreneurs' cognitive biases on venture performance, with a particular focus on the
IPO context, and (2) the effects of multiple blockholder structures on family firms' strategy
and performance. Her research has been published in leading journals such as
Strategic Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and, Strategic Entreprneurship Journal.
