Appointments must be scheduled by e-mail (arthur.woznowskivu@concordia.ca) and, depending on what is mutually convenient, it can be on Zoom or in-person. During the Fall semester, my preferred time for setting appointments for office hours is after lectures Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Biography

Arthur Woznowski-Vu, PT, PhD, Cert. MDT, Cert. PRT has been a practicing physiotherapist since 2013 and has been teaching the Pain Management Strategies course at Concordia University since 2023. He has also been regularly invited to lecture on chronic pain management in the advanced physiotherapy practice diploma of Université de Montréal since 2020 and was a teaching assistant and lecturer in the Integrated Pain Management course at McGill University (2018-2021).

Early in his career, Arthur focused on developing his physiotherapy expertise in chronic pain. He pursued several continuing education courses and then went on to complete a PhD in Rehab Science on chronic pain at McGill University, receiving several prestigious scholarships (e.g., CIHR, FRQS). His thesis focused on sensitivity to physical activity which refers to having increased pain or other negative reactions when trying to do physical activity for back pain and other pain conditions.

As Chair of the Pain Science Division at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (2021-2023), Arthur led several initiatives including a national physiotherapy advocacy campaign in response to the Canadian Pain Task Force's Action Plan for Pain in Canada: https://physiotherapy.ca/advocacy-updates/national-physiotherapy-month-2023-4/. Since 2025, Arthur volunteers on the executive committee of the Quebec Pain Society.

In 2023, Arthur opened The Chronic Pain Rehab Clinic (La Clinique de Réadaptation pour Douleur Chronique) as his physiotherapy private practice in Montreal: www.chronicpainrehab.ca.
