Biography
Anne-Marie Laflamme founded the atelier b brand in 2009 with Catherine Métivier. Their brand is seen as a leader in sustainability. From a workshop in their apartment when they were still students to their studio-boutique in Mile End, the project keeps growing with them. Interested in design, sustainable clothing and entrepreneurial activism, Anne-Marie likes to dive deeper in the matters through discussions and writings. She is a lecturer at her alma maters, UQAM and Concordia, and like to get involved in the transfer of know-how within atelier b, whether through their in-house workshops or by participating in conferences and panels.
