Ami is Vice-President of Outreach for Pennydrops, a program that teaches high school students basic financial literacy. He participated in the 2021 CFA Institute Research Challenge. Outside of Concordia, Ami is a volunteer math tutor for underprivileged students at his local YMCA, where he started an investment program through weekly lessons. He also worked on an eight-week pro bono project with McKinsey & Company for a Montreal non-profit.
About
Prior to university, Ami played varsity hockey and lacrosse at prep school while being part of an a capella group. Upon graduation, Ami wants to pursue a role in asset management or private equity. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, golf, and snowboarding. Ami is on the Dean’s Honor List for his academic performance in both the 2018–2019 and 2019–2020 academic years. He is also a recipient of the Douville Family Foundation Bursary for both 2019 and 2020.
