Research interests

My main research focus concerns integrated writing assessment where students are required to incorporate information from sources into their essays. My goal is to identify which linguistic features of university level writing are associated with positive evaluations, such as high test scores or positive instructor assessments.

Valuable aspects of studying at Concordia

Studying at Concordia was not a tough choice for me given its diverse student population, ideal location in the heart of Montreal, and supportive local and international community.

I was also thrilled at the opportunity of working with my current PhD supervisor and studying in the DOE, which focusses distinctively on research and training.
