Camina is an entrepreneur of Haitian descent, passionate about youth empowerment.
Her company Urban Wrapper offers one of the largest selections of handmade headwraps, headbands, scrunchies and durags in Montreal. The local brand is dedicated to positive representations of black women and black joy, reflecting the strong ties between Africa and diaspora communities.
She is also the founder and organizer of BUYPOC, annual pop-ups for local BIPOC youth-run businesses. Over the years, she has worked in Uganda, Benin, Bolivia and Nicaragua, facilitating skill sharing workshops for young entrepreneurs. Camina has spoken on CBC Radio, at the Salon International de la Femme Noire, and YES Employment + Entrepreneurship centre, among others, sharing her passion for youth entrepreneurship.
