David I. Waddington
David I. Waddington is a Professor in the Department of Education at Concordia University who specializes in the philosophy of education. Current research foci include teacher free speech, video games and citizenship, philosophical questions in science and technology education, and contemporary explorations of John Dewey’s work on science and technology. His work has been recognized with awards from Concordia University and the Canadian Society for the Study of Education, and he has received funding from both the Fonds du Recherche du Québec (FRQSC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
Dr. Waddington also serves as an Editor-in-Chief of Philosophical Inquiry in Education, the journal of the Canadian Philosophy of Education Society.
