Photocatalytic processes have attracted great interest during the transition towards a greener and more sustainable society due to their potential to harvest sunlight and produce chemical transformations ranging from water splitting and CO2 reduction to the oxidation of organic molecules and pollutants.
This workshop introduces graduate students to Concordia’s most valuable but often overlooked research tools, services, and strategies. Participants will learn how to navigate the library website to pinpoint essential graduate resources, take advantage of services and perks reserved for grad students, and know when to consult subject specialists for deeper support. The session also covers using specialized databases, optimizing on- and off-campus access, and efficiently obtaining material from within and beyond Concordia. Through guided instruction and participant questions, attendees will come away with a clear understanding of the breadth of resources available for graduate-level research, how to access materials outside Concordia, and how to fully leverage library privileges wherever they are working.

Aaron McIntosh's exhibition Hot House / Maison chaude is both an evolving queer ecology network and a series of related artworks, as well as a structural and theoretical container for both.
To Be Held by the Femme Island / To Be Known by the Trans Body is an interdisciplinary exhibition by Kama La Mackerel that weaves together textile installation, self-portrait photography, sound, and video into a meditation on gender, lineage, and the afterlives of colonialism.

After completing this workshop you will be able to explain the basics of 3D printing and 3D design, design appropriately for 3D printing, modify an existing 3D design, and export a model for 3D design.
