Our point with this exhibit is to address issues of global concern, but with a localized significance. The subjects focused on are mental health struggles in South Asia, the effects of climate change in Karachi in Pakistan, the sexism indoctrinated in Indian culture, physical and mental health issues in Vietnamese society, and poverty in Cambodia.

In 2017, the Concordia Library was gifted a personal collection of books related to gay culture, with a particular focus on gay men. In celebration of Pride month, this exhibition features just a few of the more than 300 gifted books.

Eli Bjedov-Stanković and María Andreína Escalona De Abreu will assemble a paper quilt in the Courtyard to be hung on the walls of the gallery. The public is invited to contribute to the making of the quilt. Eli Bjedov-Stanković et María Andreína Escalona De Abreu assembleront une courtepointe en papier dans la cour qui sera accrochée aux murs de la galerie. A durational artwork addressing the dynamic of gossip in the office environment. In it, the GM, aka maya rae oppenheimer, shall receive gossip contributions to explore how it can save, insinuate, warn, harm, and educate. These will be transcribed in a registry of handmade paper. Une œuvre d'art de longue durée qui aborde la dynamique des potins dans l'environnement de travail. Dans cette œuvre, le GM, alias maya rae oppenheimer, recevra des contributions de potins afin d'explorer comment ils peuvent sauver, insinuer, avertir, nuire et éduquer. Ces potins seront transcrits dans un registre de papier fait à la main.
