Students, alumni, and faculty from Concordia’s Faculty of Fine Arts are featured across multiple programs at the 44th Festival International du Film sur l’Art (FIFA), showcasing experimental and short-form cinema from around the world. The festival, which features more than 150 short-form and experimental films, runs from March 12 to 22 in theatres and March 20 to 29 online. Fifty-two countries are represented, including 60 Canadian films and 23 international competition entries.

Highlights include:

  • Nine films by Concordia filmmakers featured in Avant-Garde, INFRA STRUCTURE, CONDITIONS DE RÉALITÉ, and Nuit du Court programs.

  • On-campus screenings at McConnell (LB) Building and Henry F. Hall (March 14–22).

  • Online access to all festival films from March 20–29, 2026.

  • Special $30 festival pass available for attendees 30 & under. Promo code available for students and alumni: CONCO15.
