Pi Day is almost here, and we’re celebrating in style!
The AWM and GAMMAS are thrilled to invite you to our Pi Day Game Show on March 13th at 12:00 PM in LB-921-4!
The event will first start with a convivial moment around food, where you will be forming your team for the game, which is set to start at 1:00-1:15 PM. Then, your teams will compete against each other in a fun quiz inspired by mathematical culture: questions about pi, fun facts about mathematicians, math curiosities, and historical facts. The winning team will receive cool prizes!
And of course, no Pi Day would be complete without pies! We’ll wrap up the afternoon with delicious pie and a raffle for complimentary gifts.
We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone from the department and beyond!
