You are invited to explore creative ways to practice self-care in a supportive art therapy group designed to help you prioritize your well-being. Through guided art-making and reflective discussions facilitated by a supervised art therapy Master’s student, this 6-week in-person group offers space to foster gratitude, manage stress, build resilience, and deepen self-awareness. No prior art experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to engage. Join us to recharge, express yourself, and connect with others on the journey toward greater balance, hosted by Concordia’s Health & Wellness in collaboration with the Concordia Arts in Health Centre.
This is a closed-group experience, meaning only those who attend the first session will continue in the remaining sessions. One registration covers all sessions. Sessions run Tuesdays from 2–4 PM on:
- February 3

What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a therapeutic practice that combines creative expression with psychological support to promote emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It allows individuals to explore thoughts and feelings through art-making in a safe, non-judgmental space, often adding to interpersonal insights and healing. Guided by a trained art therapist, the process emphasizes self-expression, personal growth, and resilience.
