Transferring to a Fine Arts program
The Faculty of Fine Arts admits students once a year. Make your requests by March 1 for entry to the program in September of that year.
Please note: DO NOT submit multiple types of requests (ie. a double major request AND an internal transfer of program request in the same year). If you wish to be considered for different programs in the same year (ie first choice and second choice option), please contact Fine Arts Student Academic Services for guidance of how to proceed.
I am a Concordia BFA student:
- I wish to change my Major or Specialization to another Fine Arts Major or Specialization or
- I wish to add a Fine Arts Minor.
- Download and print an Internal Transfer of Program Form
- Complete and sign the form and submit it to the department offering the program you wish to take/add
- Check if the program requires a portfolio or audition. If it does, follow the department's instructions.
- If the program does not have additional admission requirements, scan the form and email it to finearts.sas@concordia.ca; approval of the transfer will be based on your Concordia grades.
