Paul Bouchard has taught in the Department of Education since 1994. He holds a Ph. D. from Université de Montréal. He is (full) professor of adult education at Concordia University. His current research is in the area of learning networks’ role in transforming the learning transaction.

2004-2005: Prepared a teacher-training program to be implemented in 4 provinces of Ecuador, for the Universidad Casa Grande (Guayaquil).

2002: John Snow Inc. / EDC, Prepared and delivered series of seminars for school district supervisors and Ministry officials in Mali, West Africa, to help implement PRODEC, the country’s 10-year plan for educational re-structuration. 31 days in Mopti, Segou, Sikasso.

2002: Concordia University, Held planning sessions with potential research partners in Bangkok, Saigon and Hanoi. Traveled  throughout Thailand and Viet-Nam to collect data on NGO's and educational institutions. 42 days in-country.

2001: John Snow Inc. / EDC, Prepared and ran a series of think-tanks with Education Ministry officials in Bamako to put together a plan for upgrading Mali's school supervision and teacher-training systems. 34 days in-country; Created a distance education package for school district supervisors in Mali, aiming at improving the training and supervision of teachers. Working with a local team of Ministry delegates, produced a 4-module text with illustrations and workbook. Designed and put together the logistics of the distance program in the country. 32 days in-country.

2001:Ministry of Education of Quebec, Prepared a series of recommendations and guidelines for the implementation of the Quebec Adult Basic Education Curriculum. Produced a document outlining procedures and considerations for future curriculum design in the province.

2000: Canadian Securities Institute, Prepared and delivered a series of seminars on educational behaviors for Canadian securities traders.

1999: Agriculture Canada, Prepared and delivered a series of seminars  on educational behaviors for government economists specialized in farm futures trading. Montreal and Nova-Scotia.

1998: Tunisia Institute of Bankers, Prepared and conducted a 3 credit MBA course for bankers in Tunisia: Counselling the Entrepreneur. (Institut des banquiers de Tunisie / Télé-Université – Gammarth, Tunisia); The Herzing Institute, Prepare and conducted a  3cr. graduate course on performance-based training for the Institute's trainers. Université de Sherbrooke; Lévesque, Beaubien, Geoffrion incPrepared and conducted an 8- hour workshop on relationship building for securities traders in Canada; Education Development Corporation (EDC), Fondation haïtienne d’éducation privée - Port-au-Prince, Haïti.Helped  Haitian educational radio scriptwriters produce material on health promotion, citizenship and literacy.
