Virtual Events Policy (VPS-2)

Introduction

Concordia University hosts hundreds of events on campus every year, and since the pandemic, there has been a higher demand for hosting virtual events using University spaces or platforms. This policy provides guidance to ensure that events hosted by Concordia and ones hosted by external groups collaborating with the university reflect its mission and values.

This policy sets out the procedure for hosting, organizing, and advertising virtual events, especially when they require the use of university space or virtual tools. It also outlines the proper use of these virtual tools, and how to manage recordings of virtual events.
