Job description: This project planner will coordinate the production of artworks for a museum-quality exhibition through sustainable techniques. This will include the facilitation/translation of scientific pollution data into cultural outputs. This position involves art production skills and project management skills.
Responsibilities will include:
· Compiling and coordinating plastic pollution data obtained by the research team, and facilitating team conversations about potential cultural interpretation/significance of said data.
· In collaboration with the research team, develop sustainably-made artworks from this output.
· Be the lead contact person for the coordination of a museum exhibition generated from the above work.
· Other research tasks as outlined by Principal Investigator
Qualifications/skills required:
· MFA degree
· Experience in staging/planning sustainable exhibitions on art/science themes
· Experience in sustainable art production/material practices and fabrication techniques
· Good organizational and interpersonal skills
· Experience in equitable and inclusive leadership/facilitation
