The Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema is excited to share news of a collaboration between recent graduate Enrique Fibla-Gutiérrez and Film Studies Professor Masha Salazkina. Together, Salazkina and Fibla-Gutiérrez co-edited the newly published Global Perspectives on Amateur Film Histories and Cultures. The book was released in January 2021 by Indiana University Press and examines global amateur film practices and their radical democratic work.
