Superbe Culture Rive-Nord (Festival Santa Teresa)
Mission/mandate/about the organisation:
Le Festival Santa Teresa is a boutique music festival held downtown Sainte-Thérèse since 2017. It is a human-scale festival that totally transforms the heart of the town into a vibrant art space accessible to everyone. Over the long weekend in May each year, more than 40 000 people attend the free and paid events and activities taking place on the street and on stages outdoors, in the church and in the various small bars and establishments of downtown Sainte-Therese. Santa Teresa exploits and fully assumes its suburbanness. It stands out from others in presenting a wide variety of musical styles, pleasing youth 18 to 25 but also reaching out to families and music fans well into their 30s and 40s. Context of the internship
Santa Teresa will be held in Sainte-Therese May 18 to 22, 2022. We are looking for an energetic, charismatic and proactive production or technical assistant to help our team advance and prepare the various events, activations and concerts of the Festival.
Start date is flexible and part-time from home leading up to the Festival, becoming full-time closer to the Festival dates. Currently, the Festival plans to be held 100% in person, and the presence of the intern will be required on site for the setup and all festival days.
We are looking for a candidate who is versatile, creative and agile, but also passionate, committed and proactive. Attention to detail and spoken/written French are a must.
