Circa art actuel
By Émilie Granjon
Mission/mandate/about the organisation
CIRCA art actuel is an artist-run center that supports experimentation and innovation. Its mission? To present the work of contemporary artists of all generations who place the sculptural object at the heart of their practice. The Center supports projects that are rooted in the spirit of traditional sculptural practice as well as those that develop hybrid sculptural and installation forms, emerging from an engagement with other media such as drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, or painting. All of this reflects a strong commitment to supporting and developing sculptural and installation practices, in a spirit of openness and renewal.

- Tasks will therefore be varied, encompassing communication, coordination, setup and takedown, research, and writing, among others.

- Become familiar with museum-related tasks within the context of an artists’ center.
- Acquire skills in cultural project management.
- Refine research skills in the context of presenting artistic projects.
